confession: im a druggie

JUST kidding.
kind of.
anyway.
i have a dilemma.
two of them, actually.
they are:

  1. i currently cant decide if i want to go to bed or not. since the beginning of my summer, i have been working a graveyard shift and then sleeping during the day. welp, its 10:30am and im blogging while watching What Not to Wear, my totes fave tv show. (you know, beside Modern Family and Criminal Minds) I am not particularly tired, but i will later. but i hate bed time. gah. but the lady on WNTW today is kind of annoying. so im going to say goodnight soon.
  2. so dilemma #2 deserves a little bit of an explanation and background on my life. it all started about 3 years ago... during the summer after my senior year of high school. my bff, jamie, introduced me to some of the most wonderful movies i have ever seen. they are of course, the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I fell in love almost immediately and later became the proud owner of the entire trilogy due to a Christmas gift from some awesome roommates. I watch these movies all the time and frequently have marathons with my besties up at the Gates. anyway. the point im trying to get across is the fact that im indefinitely in love with LOTR.

    next story (dont worry, it all ties together): last winter my super awesome neighbors, the Sasine's, invited me and my sister over to watch a little show called "Les Mis". at first i was like "dafetch? what did you call me?" but then they were like "shut up, get over here", so i came. and i cried. and i nearly died, too. Les Miserables has most definitely become my favorite musical of all time.  i have the original broadway soundtrack on my mp3 player, and i listen to almost the entire thing every day while im at work (because i have absolutely nothing to do). i could probably perform the entire musical by heart. by myself.

    so here is the dilemma:
                Les Miserables, the Musical Movie comes out on December 14th, 2012. It has many impeccable actors in it, including Hugh Jackman, Russel Crowe, and my favorite actress of all time: Helena Bonham Carter. it was basically a dream come true. until i found out... (dun dun dun) the Hobbit ALSO comes out on December 14th. which one am i going to see at midnight?! I DONT KNOW.

    i love you. i'm glad i helped bring you such joy with lord of the rings. also, just go to one the opening night, then the other the next day after a nice night's rest. choose which to do when by whichever one your friends decide to see at midnight. easy-shmeezy. :) loves.

I wont blame it all on teaching, but...

It took me a long while to make this post. First it took a while for me to realize I needed to write it. Then it took me a while to find the time and mental ability to write this emotional piece and then it took me a while to decide to publish it. So this is several months in the making, but here it is.
