A walk through the past 4 years of my life...
As my undergraduate schooling has ended, I have been quite sentimental about the time I spent at BYUI and the places this school has taken me. So I decided to write up a list of my favorite memories during college. They aren't in any particular order, just which one I thought of first. And I tried to contain it to 10, or even 15… but that just did not happen. Happy reading :)
1. That one time Kameron Kavanaugh caught me and David Contreras gettin some in a practice room.
(We were, in fact, NOT getting anything, but I was merely giving him a voice lesson in the technique of breathing.)
2. The special occasion when Heidi Jane Spjute Powell and I had a full on conversation in our own made up language... also in a practice room.
3. When Danielle Windham and I duct taped Bailee Super to a lamp post. No regrets.
4. Spending two weeks in the beautiful country of Ghana, Africa, singing my little heart out with the BYUI collegiate singers. Specifically, the moment I stepped onto temple grounds. That moment was the single most important defining moment in my life as a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. I know without a doubt that this is the Lord's church and that he has an important work for us to do to love all of his children. I promise all of you that the church is the same everywhere, even in the third world country of Ghana.
5. The moment Joie Cariaga and I discovered we were the exact same person. #bestmentorever
6. The time when my mother offered to test out one of my friends "make out" abilities for me. She is so thoughtful.
7. That one time... with Alissa Petersen Pynes... well, actually, ALL THE TIMES. #cutthroatphaseten #weddings #hauntedmill #moombondingmoments
8. I will never forget the day Amanda Edwards and I made up our own 20th century fugue and shared the new composition with the entire fishbowl.
9. The time when Dr. Peck caught Isaac Lowder and myself searching for fuzzy handcuffs on ebay during class... not our brightest moment.
10. When I kissed Wayd Odle on stage and was definitely not supposed to. #noregrets #whatsoever
11. The repeated times Rochelle Mathews ran into me stark naked in Ghana. #quarantined #roommatesbychance #besties
12. The semester everyone thought I was British.
13. The time Alejandro Duran and I made a fairy house in the Walmart parking lot. Oh, and also our weekly picnics. #soclassy
14. The time my siblings and I wrote a song called "I'm not wearin pants." To this day, we often sing it to each other and also unsuspecting victims.
15. When Christina Brandt and I TP'd our favorite professor's house at 3am. #brandonbascom
16. When Allen and I communicate to each other in baby dinosaur noises. #rawr
17. When I mentored the "Practice Room Heroes" #bestmentorgroupever #savorthemooments
18. When Christina Brandt and I made a college fund of $9.36 for Jake Fowkes.
19. When I hosted an end of school party with my choir kids and we went on a nature walk with glow sticks…
20. Modus Novus. And all of Theory 4's greatness. #brokerr #AA
